Contact form submissions, phone calls, and email inquiries do not create a binding contract. Project scope, pricing, engineering requirements, permitting responsibilities, timelines, and warranty terms are defined only in a written proposal or contract signed by both parties.

Site-specific conditions (soil, wind exposure, existing structures, utility conflicts, and local code requirements) may affect final design and pricing after formal site review.

6. Engineering and Compliance Disclaimer

Shade structures must be designed for site-specific wind, snow, and exposure conditions. Engineering references on this Site are educational and may not apply to every jurisdiction or application.

Permitting, inspections, and code compliance requirements vary by municipality. Unless expressly included in a signed contract, permitting coordination remains the responsibility of the project owner unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Warranty Information

Duffer Hollow Designs offers a 12-year limited warranty on qualifying shade structures when installed according to approved specifications by authorized installers. Warranty coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures are defined in the written warranty document provided at project handover.

Warranty terms may differ for fabric replacement, storm damage, unauthorized modifications, or installations outside approved specifications. General warranty information on this Site does not replace your project-specific warranty document.

8. Third-Party Links and Tools

The Site may include links to third-party websites, embedded maps, or social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or availability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
