Project overview
Animal shelters run outdoors even when the sun does not cooperate. Lawrence Humane Society needed shade over high-traffic outdoor areas to protect animals and staff during intake, walks, and visitor moments. We built commercial-grade coverage that fits operational flow instead of fighting it.
Challenge
Shelter yards see constant movement, hose-downs, and UV exposure. Soft residential shade was not enough. The Society needed durable commercial materials and coverage where people and animals actually spend time.
